I looked down at the body
I shivered from the cold
And from the suprising beauty
She was sprawled out
Her hair was pitch black,
The perfect contrast to the snow
Her skin was pale.
Almost as pale as the snow around her
But the snow wasn't white anymore
It had been died red with her blood
It was so sad
And yet
The snow kept falling
I could see the steam rising from her still warm body
The gash across her torso was huge
I had never seen someone's insides before.
But something was off
I realized what it was when she coughed.
She was still alive
I kneeled next to her head
Her breath was wheezing
I'm dying
It wasn't a question
